2024 Artists’ Exhibition

The In My Mind Conference (IMM) welcomes artists (in any medium) who want to exhibit their work at the Conference. We are aware that many of our community members express themselves through their art, and for a variety of reasons, are unseen - they don’t have exhibitions in galleries, and often, they use their meager funds to pay for art supplies. At IMM24, we encouraged artists to show their work, and following a call for submissions, we were pleased to share the work of the artists below.

Our View

The In My Mind Conference (IMM) presents a film forum of film shorts (15 minutes or less) made by, for, and about LGBTQIA+ Black and peoples of color from across the globe. This year’s line-up include:

  • Blue Flower (Sunil Babu Pant, Nepal)

  • Ajima and Six Genders (Sunil Babu Pant, Nepal) 

  • Numb- a short film by Ayodeji Otuyelu (Nigeria and US)

  • UnSaid – by Ayodeji Otuyelu (Nigeria and US)

  • The Outlandish – by Ayodeji Otuyelu (Nigeria and US)

  • PSAs - LGBT Cancer Network

  • Eating Pawpaw on the Seashore (Nickose Layne, Rae Wiltshire)
